Dublin airport in located on the outskirts of Irelands Capital City. Cork Airport is located 8km from the city center and is well signposted on all major routes. The airport serves air routes from Britain as well as domestic flights. There is a regular train service from Dublin to Westport and Galway.

Remember to drive on the left!
All traffic in Ireland drives on the left hand side of the road. You will see signs on the road reminding you of this. Be careful at junctions, as this can be confusing until you get used to driving on the left. Best advice is to drive slowly and cautiously and you'll gradually become more comfortable.
Ferry
Several ferry routes link Ireland to Britain and France. Ferry prices vary from season to season but these are competitive and there are frequent promotional offers. The duration of the sailing depends on the route.
The quickest sailing takes 109 minutes from Holyhead in Britain to Dublin with Irish Ferries. An average journey from Cherbourg in France to Rosslare, County Wexford is 19 hours long.
